Cons.

  • Risk of having negative reviews and it may publish through loyal customers.

  • There huge disadvantage of exposure to competitors on your marketing strategies.
  • As same as improving the loyal to your brand, there is a risk of having repeated bad reviews and it may cause damage to the business brand image.

Content is like a salesperson for the production of a business. All the information about the product may include in the content. Content marketing should have done with very disciplined methods. This strategy takes help from social media and email marketing techniques.   • Success depends on creativity and skill.
  • Expensive depend on the project
  • Manage the content is not much easy.

There are many definitions for a Brand. The brand represents the symbol of the reputation of a company. The brand is a strong and unique asset for a business and is so powerful. All the companies are trying to get to the higher place of their brand name. And it works as a strong role to sustain a well-reputed business. So, what is Brand Marketing?

A business always trying to increase its customer base by producing quality goods and services. But there are so many substitutes for products and services. Inbound Marketing

Inbound marketing type can simply describe as, get the attention of potential customers via social media marketing, content marketing(articles or videos), SEO, and brand marketing strategies. In this marketing method, focus on attracting customers through online marketing tools such as, newsletters, websites, blogs creatively, and sponsoring by company authorization. This is basically building trustworthiness among customers and grab them into your business. Contents are very important and they should be real, accurate, and creative. Identifying the target audience is compulsory to get decisions on inbound marketing. Researches may help to go through customer's choices. 

Studying consumer behaviors to attracting customers, may draw the right people to the business. People can always ask questions related to content. Answering those questions and solving their conflicts individually, regarding your service, may strongly help to engage with business and build a sustainable relation creating trust between both buyer and seller. Analyzing buyer's conflict questions will easily direct to the main goal and consumers may not hesitate to buy your product or service. As we all know, the customer is king for any market.   • Overall time consumption is a bit high, so return on investment may take time.
  • Many companies are into inbound marketing, hence the competition may increase.
  • Trust is dependent on creativeness and accuracy, always depends on required professionals.
  • Even though using inbound marketing, still have to stick with outbound marketing.
  • In some cases, it may not compatible to convert from traditional marketing to inbound marketing.
  • Should have put enough effort to plan and become strategical.


Outbound Marketing

Outbound marketing type can introduce a self-dependent marketing type. Strategies can use with other marketing types along with outbound marketing. Even though the global become a single village, traditional methods are still using to maintain and attract customers for businesses. Outbound marketing is always one-way communication. Examples of outbound marketing are TV commercials and radio ads, trade shows, billboards, advertisements on papers, internet advertisements, pop-up ads, direct emails, etc. This type of marketing does not require customer feedback or interest. The message is sending to all who live in society. This may interrupt for customers, but expecting to create a need or want for the customer, and trying to increase sales. If there is a person who is expecting to buy the product, the person may keep a note with him and will buy when they need or want to poke.

This method bit risky due to annoying but is a successful method. Instead of waiting till someone find your business, you are going to the front door and knocking and say, "Hey, we have this product, and it has this kind of benefits, so if you want to buy this at this price, you can solve all your problems". Peoples are always watching dramas, movies, games to fulfill their happiness and it is a requirement in day-to-day life. Finding where are the more people traffic is generating, is the best place for outbound marketing. You can create a need for people, to buy a particular product. Have to be smart, and using researches, surveys, and statistics you have to report them about your product creatively. And the message should be strong and attractive. Customer will hold the best one and will buy that product. Inbound marketing is a good method. But outbound marketing is more effective. 

Pros and Cons of Outbound marketing

Pros:

  • Return on investment is higher than other marketing types.
  • Time-saving and presenting are more accurate.
  • More effective and strategies have a better successful ratio.
  • More engagements with the business.
  • This marketing type will create interest in customers and pushes to buy the product strategically.
  • Measure and analyze strategies are easy.

Cons: 

  • Cost is higher than in other marketing types.
  • There may have wasted of investment due to not targeting a particular group.
  • Taking more time and have to put a big effort to identify customer feedback.
  • Due to the suggestion and complaint delay, it may take some time to do changes or improvements to products.
  • Measuring ROI is not much easy. Should have work on so many graphs and statistics to identify the return.
  • Attracting customers and keep the constant relationship between buyer and seller is harder.

Consider which marketing type is the best to implement and comply with your business strategies. If you are running a small business, it is better to go for a cost-effective marketing type. Even though all the marketing types have advantages and disadvantages, all the methods are useful to make your business get into a successful level. The thing you have to decide is how accurately your strategies comply with the selected marketing type. But, if you are planning to get more sales and profit, you have to invest in risk and give maximum effort to expand and improve the business in the long term sustainable process.
